Give a child a

forever family.

Our Impact

By connecting children with forever families, we’re rewriting the foster care story across the Piney Woods of East Texas and guiding families every step of the adoption journey.

Children in their permanent home

Until every child is home

In foster care, older children, sibling groups, and children with medical and behavioral needs are often overlooked due to their lower likelihood of adoption. Historically, less than 1% of these individuals find forever families.

Right now about 100 of these children live in East Texas and are in need of extra recruiting efforts.

One photo can

change a life.

Heart Gallery East Texas uses captivating photo exhibits to introduce communities to the faces, names, and stories of the East Texas children who are least likely to be adopted, paving the way for them to find love and belonging in forever families.

With a Heart Gallery program in place, dedicated staff, and media coverage, the national statistic of these children finding a forever family increases to 60%!
